Job Description Summary

Are you an organized and safety-focused logistics professional looking to support the renewable energy industry? As a Material Handler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout the repair facility. From receiving and inventory management to production support and shipment preparation, you will help keep operations running smoothly while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and quality.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Receive, process, and dispatch materials using SAP and Oracle systems, ensuring accurate inventory transactions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure full traceability of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Organize and store raw materials and components in designated warehouse locations while preserving inventory integrity.
  • Pick and deliver materials to production teams to support repair and manufacturing activities.
  • Prepare, pick, pack, and stage orders for external shipment in line with customer requirements.
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently to support daily operational demands.
  • Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to arrange shipments, collections, and deliveries.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and other warehouse machinery, as required.
  • Distribute materials and manage waste generated within the repair facility in accordance with company procedures.
  • Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) policies, environmental practices, and waste management guidelines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a Gearbox Repair shop.
  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Fork truck license or willingness to get fork truck license
  • Operate machinery as needed (Forklift, Skin Pack Machine, Crane etc.)
  • Ability to lift, transport, move and / or manipulate boxes or other materials up to 100T with reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a working environment that changes daily to keep incoming / outgoing materials moving to meet customer and manufacturing requirements.
  • Ability and willingness to work various shifts and overtime based on business needs
