The posting

Als Service Support Engineer bij GEA Process Engineering België in Kontich maakt u deel uit van een dynamisch en gedreven serviceteam. Samen met onze Product Specialisten, Service Sales Engineers en Field Service Engineers ondersteunt u klanten in de voedingsmiddelen-, zuivel-, farmaceutische en chemische industrie.

Responsibilities / Tasks

Als Service Support Engineer bent u een belangrijke schakel tussen onze klanten, servicetechniekers en interne afdelingen. Dankzij uw technische kennis, organisatorische vaardigheden en klantgerichte aanpak zorgt u ervoor dat serviceactiviteiten efficiënt, veilig en kwalitatief worden uitgevoerd.

Geen enkele dag is dezelfde. U bent betrokken bij het volledige traject: van het opstellen van offertes en technische calculaties tot de planning en coördinatie van onderhoudswerken, revisies, upgrades en interventies. U krijgt de kans om je technische expertise verder uit te bouwen binnen een internationale omgeving en mee te werken aan uitdagende industriële projecten.

Uw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Zelfstandig voorbereiden van serviceopdrachten voor een veilige en kwalitatieve uitvoering.
  • Opstellen van technische offertes en uitvoeren van kostencalculaties.
  • Bestellen en opvolgen van materialen, onderdelen en diensten die nodig zijn voor service- en onderhoudswerken.
  • Coördineren en plannen van Field Service Engineers voor onderhoudsactiviteiten, revisies en interventies.
  • Technisch advies verstrekken aan klanten en interne stakeholders.
  • Ondersteunen van geplande onderhoudsstops, shutdowns, upgrades en retrofitprojecten.
  • Evalueren van uitgevoerde serviceactiviteiten en actief bijdragen aan continue verbeteringen.
  • Nauwe samenwerking met collega's binnen engineering, projectmanagement, spare parts en service om onze dienstverlening verder te versterken.
  • Uitbouwen en onderhouden van sterke interne en externe relaties, waarbij je verwachtingen op een professionele manier beheert.
  • Signaleren van commerciële opportuniteiten voor spare parts, servicecontracten, upgrades en modernisaties.
  • Actief bijdragen aan de verdere groei en professionalisering van de serviceorganisatie.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Bacheloropleiding in een technische richting of gelijkwaardige ervaring.
  • Sterke interesse in industriële procesinstallaties, onderhoud en techniek.
  • Gestructureerd, proactief en oplossingsgerichte ingesteldheid.
  • Communicatief sterk en werkt graag samen in teamverband.
  • Beheerst het Nederlands en hebt een goede kennis van het Engels. Kennis van het Frans is een pluspunt.
  • Klantgericht en weet technische vraagstukken correct te analyseren en op te volgen.
  • Ervaring binnen de procesindustrie, machinebouw, onderhoud of industriële dienstverlening is een troef.
  • Kennis van Microsoft Office en digitale tools.
  • Affiniteit met componenten zoals kleppen, pompen, homogenisatoren, warmtewisselaars of drying equipment vormt een sterke meerwaarde.
