This role offers a front seat to the transformative impact of Physical AI in industry and an opportunity to learn from, and work alongside, a world-class team of AI and robotics pioneers.

Responsibilities

- Manage multiple customer projects concurrently, from kickoff through deployment and handover, including scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

- Work with engineering to break customer requirements into technical scope, work plans, and milestones.

- Assess technical feasibility and risks of customer requests against GRID's current capabilities.

- Stay up to date with the team's development progress, technical decisions, and blockers across projects, working closely with Forward Deployed Engineers and research teams in Singapore and the US.

- Lead technical discussions with customer engineering teams, including integration requirements, hardware and sensor setups, and deployment environments.

- Review and help shape solution designs, data collection plans, and evaluation criteria for model performance.

- Define success metrics and acceptance criteria for deployments.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, building trusted relationships with stakeholders from technical teams to senior leadership.

- Provide regular project updates to customers, including progress reports, demos, risks, and next steps.

- Identify and escalate risks early, and drive resolution across engineering, research, and customer teams.

- Translate customer requirements and field feedback into input for the GRID product roadmap.

- Identify opportunities for expanding customer value, including follow-on projects and new use cases.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a relevant technical field.

- 3+ years of technical project or program management experience, or prior experience as an engineer moving into project management.

- Working understanding of machine learning, robotics, or software systems, enough to engage meaningfully in technical discussions and design reviews.

- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and tools such as Git, Jira, or similar.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in parallel.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ability to travel up to [X]% to customer sites and our US office as needed.

-

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.

- Prior hands-on experience in software, ML, or robotics engineering.

- Experience managing projects in robotics, AI/ML, automation, manufacturing, or logistics.

- Familiarity with ROS, simulation platforms (e.g. AirSim, Isaac Sim, Mujoco), or computer vision workflows.

- Experience with cloud platforms and APIs.

- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced R&D environment, with distributed teams across time zones.

- Project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) or Agile/Scrum experience.

About General Robotics

General Robotics is building the intelligence grid for physical AI — the platform that makes any robot, from robotic arms to humanoids, genuinely intelligent. Headquartered in Redmond, Washington, we're backed by Accenture, who invested in General Robotics in 2026 to advance Physical AI-powered robotics in manufacturing and logistics, and we're part of Microsoft's Startups Pegasus Program. Our team's work spans some of the most widely adopted robotics and AI research to come out of Microsoft Research — including AirSim, PACT, and ClimaX.

Our core platform, GRID, gives robots a fast, cloud-native library of 40+ pre-trained AI skills, with deployment in as little as 15 minutes and scaling to 25,000+ concurrent robot requests per instance.

Our Singapore team works closely with the US team on GRID's research and development as an extended research facility, and to support our customers in the region. Engineers from both offices regularly visit each other for collaboration.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
