This role will also advance security-focused practices, including SBOM generation, vulnerability scanning, and security operations.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing DevOps and build/release engineering team in Chennai.
  • Own, optimize, and scale CI/CD, Jenkins, GitLab, Git, Linux, and build and release infrastructure.
  • Automate software builds, image creation, artifact publishing, and end-to-end release processes.
  • Improve build reliability, performance, scalability, and developer productivity across multiple products.
  • Establish and maintain artifact management, SBOM generation, vulnerability scanning, and security operations practices.
  • Partner with Engineering, QA, Operations, Security, and Platform teams to automate product and manufacturing workflows.
  • Define DevOps best practices, operational processes, service-level metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you’ve done:

  • Built 18 or more years of experience in DevOps, build and release engineering, software infrastructure, or a related field.
  • Led technical teams or engineering functions for at least three years, with demonstrated experience developing and mentoring talent.
  • Developed and managed CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, Git, Linux, Python, Shell scripting, and related technologies.
  • Designed and operated build systems, artifact repositories, and software release automation.
  • Improved the reliability, performance, and efficiency of build and release platforms.
  • Implemented or supported artifact management, SBOM generation, vulnerability scanning, and security-focused engineering practices.
  • Gained experience with networking, embedded systems, appliances, or cloud products; this experience is a plus.

Who you are:

  • A technically strong and strategic leader who can balance long-term platform improvements with reliable day-to-day execution.
  • An effective collaborator who builds strong partnerships across Engineering, QA, Operations, Security, and Platform teams.
  • A thoughtful people manager who develops talent, encourages accountability, and fosters a high-performing team environment.
  • A structured problem-solver who can identify root causes and deliver practical, scalable solutions.
  • A clear communicator who can explain complex technical concepts and align stakeholders around shared objectives.
  • A continuous-improvement advocate who promotes automation, operational discipline, and engineering excellence.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
