Who we are looking for

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to take ownership of payroll operations across multiple business units. The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, and able to manage payroll processes independently while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.

Salary Range: 70K-80K

What you will do

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple business units.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll execution.
  • Coordinate payroll activities with external payroll providers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Support contractor payment administration and workforce-related financial processes.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable payroll regulations and policies.
  • Partner with Finance and HR teams to support employee lifecycle processes impacting payroll.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, ensuring issues are followed through to resolution.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and operational efficiency.
  • Provide professional and responsive support to employees regarding payroll-related matters.

Requirements

  • Experience processing payroll. Must.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements. Must.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. Must.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage payroll processes across multiple entities. Must.
  • Strong operational mindset focused on accuracy and employee service.
  • Experience working with contractors and external payroll vendors. Advantage.
  • Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, including payroll transitions or system/process integrations. Strong advantage.
