Position Overview

A well-established healthcare system in the scenic Finger Lakes Region of New York is actively seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join its highly collaborative, patient-centered team. This is a full-time, employed role offering the opportunity to practice a wide range of gastroenterology services with access to both an ambulatory surgery center and hospital-based procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and primary care providers to coordinate care.
  • Analyze medical histories and diagnostic test results to establish treatment plans.
  • Perform procedures in both ambulatory and hospital settings.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and collaborate with specialists.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • US Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine
  • Proficiency in endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Eligible for New York State medical licensure
  • Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centered care
