What You Will Do
As a Material Handler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient movement and handling of materials to support operational needs. You will work onsite, utilizing powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) and equipment to manage material flow and contribute to departmental objectives.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) and other equipment.
- Operate various PIVs to transport materials within the facility.
- Support departmental needs by picking up scrap materials for reclamation, delivering supplies, and packaging materials for shipment.
- Carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position, to support department objectives and skill development.
- Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required.
- Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) guidelines, including wearing required personal protective equipment.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate inbound and outbound material handling.
- Lift and transport materials weighing up to 25 lbs. independently.
- The position will work a schedule of Monday - Thursday (4x10) 6:00am - 4:00pm (6th shift).
Qualifications You Must Have
- HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US)
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience performing pre-operation inspections of powered industrial vehicles (PIVs).
- Experience operating various PIVs to accomplish job functions.

- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is $21.00 per hour. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
