Summary About Mobis Parts Operations (MPO) Team Mobis Parts Operations (MPO) Team is responsible for managing and optimizing the inland transportation network that moves Mobis Parts America’s (MPA) inbound automotive parts containers from U.S. ports and rail ramps to 10 Parts Distribution Centers (PDCs) across the United States. The team oversees multiple transportation modes, including drayage, rail/ Intermodal transportation, and transloading with team trucking, while coordinating closely with carriers, rail providers, ports, and PDCs to ensure reliable and timely delivery. MPO continuously monitors key performance indicators such as lead time, on-time delivery, port dwell, demurrage, detention, and storage to identify operational issues, improve transportation performance, and control logistics costs. Through transportation management, performance reporting, and data-driven analysis, the team supports MPA's supply chain by balancing service reliability, total logistics cost, operational complexity, and PDC capacity while driving continuous network optimization. The Administrator position on the Mobis Parts Operations (MPO) Team is responsible for coordinating operational responses to transportation disruptions and service risks across carriers, ports, and Parts Distribution Centers, facilitating stakeholder communication and recovery efforts to maintain transportation flow and service continuity, and executing transportation accounting and month-end financial activities to ensure accuracy and compliance. Success in the role requires strong operational coordination abilities, transportation and accounting knowledge, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, sound decision-making capabilities, and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Coordinate daily transportation activities among carriers, rail providers, ports, and PDCs to ensure uninterrupted operations. Manage urgent operational issues and execute recovery plans to minimize service impacts. Facilitate communication among internal and external stakeholders during operational disruptions. Prioritize transportation activities based on service requirements, operational risk, and business impact. Perform transportation accounting activities including invoice review, charge validation, and billing coordination. Execute month-end transportation financial processes in accordance with established timelines. Reconcile transportation costs and investigate billing discrepancies. Conduct root cause analysis of operational and financial exceptions and support corrective actions. Maintain visibility of operational and financial issues requiring management attention.
Additional Responsibilities
Monitor aging invoices and unresolved financial transactions. Support operational and financial performance reviews. Assist with implementation of process improvements and workflow enhancements. Participate in cross-functional projects and business initiatives.

Education & Experience Required Qualifications
H.S. Diploma/G.E.D. 3-5 years of Drayage, Freight Forwarding, Logistics experience
