Ben jij onze nieuwe Servicemonteur Werktuigbouwkunde?

Op locatie ben jij degene die zorgt dat werktuigbouwkundige installaties blijven doen wat ze moeten doen. Als servicemonteur werktuigbouwkunde bij GMB ga je vanuit Heemskerk op pad voor onderhoud, reparaties en kleinere nieuwbouwwerkzaamheden binnen de watersector. Je komt onder andere bij drinkwaterbedrijven, gemalen en afvalwaterzuiveringen en werkt daar aan installaties die iedere dag betrouwbaar moeten functioneren.

Je krijgt veel vrijheid in hoe je je werk uitvoert. Met een volledig ingerichte bus en goed gereedschap heb je veel zelf in de hand. Tegelijk kun je altijd terugvallen op collega’s met andere technische specialismen als een klus daarom vraagt.

Wat ga je doen?

Je werkt aan verschillende soorten werktuigbouwkundige installaties en schakelt makkelijk tussen onderhoud, reparatie en nieuwbouw. Soms weet je vooraf precies wat er moet gebeuren, op andere momenten ontdek je pas op locatie waar het probleem zit en welke oplossing nodig is.

Daarbij ben je niet alleen technisch bezig. Je hebt ook direct contact met klanten en collega’s op locatie en zorgt dat iedereen weet wat er speelt en wat er nodig is om verder te kunnen.

Je:

  • voert onderhoud uit aan werktuigbouwkundige installaties;
  • lokaliseert storingen en voert reparaties uit;
  • werkt mee aan aanpassingen en kleinere nieuwbouwwerkzaamheden;
  • werkt onder meer aan pompen, leidingwerk en andere mechanische installaties;
  • beoordeelt op locatie wat technisch nodig is;
  • stemt werkzaamheden af met klanten en collega’s;
  • zorgt dat installaties veilig, netjes en betrouwbaar worden opgeleverd.

Jouw werkomgeving

Vanuit Heemskerk werk je op technische locaties binnen de watersector. Je komt op plekken waar drinkwater wordt geproduceerd, afvalwater wordt verpompt en zuiveringsinstallaties continu moeten blijven draaien.

Je werkt veel zelfstandig en hebt daardoor veel verantwoordelijkheid. Tegelijk ben je onderdeel van een breed team van vakspecialisten. Afhankelijk van het project werk je samen met collega’s uit bijvoorbeeld elektrotechniek, betontechniek, civiele techniek en andere technische disciplines.

Juist die combinatie van zelfstandigheid en samenwerking maakt het werk afwisselend. Je kunt rekenen op:

  • veel vrijheid in de uitvoering van je werkzaamheden;
  • uiteenlopende technische klussen op verschillende locaties;
  • een volledig ingerichte bus met gereedschap;
  • direct contact met klanten;
  • collega’s met verschillende technische specialismen;
  • ruimte om je vakkennis verder uit te bouwen.

Wat breng je mee?

Je bent een monteur die graag zelf uitzoekt wat er aan de hand is en pas tevreden is als de installatie weer goed werkt. Je denkt praktisch, blijft rustig als een situatie anders loopt dan verwacht en weet wanneer je zelfstandig kunt handelen en wanneer je moet overleggen.

Omdat je veel bij klanten op locatie komt, communiceer je makkelijk en professioneel. Je vindt het prettig om verantwoordelijkheid te krijgen en houdt van werk waarin geen dag hetzelfde is.

Je:

  • hebt een afgeronde technische opleiding;
  • hebt enkele jaren relevante werkervaring in een vergelijkbare functie;
  • hebt rijbewijs B;
  • hebt affiniteit met de watersector en/of industrie;
  • werkt zelfstandig en oplossingsgericht;
  • communiceert makkelijk met klanten en collega’s.
