Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), budgets and commercial tender evaluations.
  • Manage contract administration, subcontractor quotations, payment claims and progress valuations.
  • Assess variation orders, change requests, contractual claims and associated cost implications.
  • Monitor project expenditure, cost forecasts, commitments and commercial risks.
  • Verify site measurements, quantities and completed works against drawings and contractual requirements.
  • Prepare and reconcile interim payments, final accounts and commercial documentation.
  • Liaise with project teams, contractors, suppliers and clients on commercial matters and negotiations.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant QS, cost management or commercial management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, contract administration, variations, claims and final accounts.
  • Experience reviewing engineering drawings, specifications and construction contracts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
