The posting

Job Responsibilities:

· Preparation of tender submissions including taking off quantities and sourcing for quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors; Sourcing, negotiation and evaluation of quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers through preparation of price comparison.

· Quantity take-off and cost breakdown for Pre and Post contract.

· Preparation and following up on progress claims, progress certification, variation orders and settlement of final account with main contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers.

· Maintain records, tracking and submission of all variation orders.

· Liaise with project team for material ordering, issuing of Purchase Orders to suppliers and cost control.

· Work closely with teammates.

· Perform, any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Team player

· Prefer QS and accounting background

· Ability to communicate with all levels

· PC literate and proficient in MS Office

· Experience in tiles, furnishing and lighting trade.

· Ability to read layout and plan drawings

· Ability to perform under tight schedules and meet deadlines
