Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, drive team performance, maintain high service standards, and ensure an outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
  • Lead, manage, and motivate the front-of-house team to achieve operational goals and maintain high morale
  • Plan and manage staff deployment and daily work schedules to optimize manpower and service coverage
  • Maintain high standards of customer service by monitoring service quality and addressing issues promptly
  • Handle customer feedback professionally and resolve operational challenges to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Monitor sales performance and support strategies to achieve business targets and revenue growth
  • Assist in cost control measures and minimize operational wastage to improve profitability
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely stock availability
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations to maintain a safe environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to foster collaboration and operational excellence
  • Adapt to fast-paced, high-volume restaurant conditions while maintaining service quality
  • Work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required to support business needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience in restaurant management or food and beverage operations
  • Experience working in a Chinese restaurant environment
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills demonstrated through team development and performance improvement
  • Good understanding of restaurant operations and service standards to maintain consistent quality
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills applied to enhance guest experiences
  • Knowledge of staff scheduling and manpower management to optimize workforce efficiency
  • Understanding of restaurant cost control and inventory management to support financial goals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with staff and customers
