The posting

Are you passionate about board games and interested in working with international partners to bring great games to players around the world? Join GPN as a Partner Manager and help build strong partnerships while coordinating exciting projects across global markets!

About the team:

Global Publishing Network (GPN) was founded more than five years ago as one of the business pillars of Lucky Duck Games. Today, it operates as an independent division within Goliath. GPN specializes in the worldwide licensing, localization, and distribution of board games, representing more than 20 publishers and helping bring their titles to players across global markets. With the GPN office in Warsaw and team members in Poland and the U.S., we operate as a dynamic, distributed team. Learn more: https://gpn-games.com.

Role:

The GPN Partner Manager supports the relationship and project management functions of the GPN team. Reporting to the GPN Manager, this role helps onboard new partners, coordinate deliverables, maintain clear communication, and ensure processes run smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills, a passion for the tabletop gaming industry, and a desire to grow into a client-facing partnership or business development role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Partner & Publisher Relations

  • Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with publishing partners through regular communication, check-ins, and monthly catch-up calls.
  • Address and resolve ongoing publishing partner issues and operational inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Conduct cold outreach to potential new publishing partners to gather information on prospective titles.
  • Support the sales team in discussions and negotiations regarding current GPN offers.

2. Agreements & Negotiations

  • Negotiate contract terms and agreements with publishers.
  • Draft and update agreements, following up to ensure timely signing and execution.

3. Product Management, Content & Pricing

  • Maintain and update product sheets and the GPN catalog (adding new titles, language options, and removing obsolete titles).
  • Review and test new titles, double-checking English files for merchandising accuracy.
  • Prepare pricing for new products (for manager approval and sales team distribution) and keep price lists up to date.
  • Gather and update manufacturing and print run quotes from suppliers.
  • Research market trends and identify potential new titles/partners.

4. Royalties & Financial Administration

  • Conduct royalty audits, verify financial records of publishing partners, and resolve any delivery issues regarding publisher royalties.
  • Prepare and distribute quarterly summary reports to partners.

5. Systems, Data & Reporting

  • Maintain and keep CRM systems, company databases, and the website up to date.
  • Update partner dashboards weekly with new orders, status updates, sales prices, and manufacturing figures to ensure full royalty visibility for publishers.

6. Industry Events & Trade Shows

  • Coordinate event-specific catalogs (gathering graphics, product specs, pricing, and sample details).
  • Manage event logistics: schedule meetings, set up booth space (e.g., Essen, Nuremberg), and conduct post-event follow-ups with publishers.

7. Samples & Logistics Coordination

  • Organize, collect, and coordinate sample shipments for sales partners, buyers, and events (direct from publishers or office stock).
  • Track sample inventory across warehouses.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in project coordination, account management, publishing, or related roles.
  • Strong interest in the board game industry and a basic understanding of the tabletop publishing ecosystem
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with G Suite, Microsoft Office, and standard project tracking tools.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus (especially Polish).
  • Experience working in a startup environment, publishing, or game production environment.
  • Familiarity with contract processes, sales coordination, or localization workflows.
  • Enthusiasm for learning from senior team members and growing into a more strategic partner-facing role.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to work in a hybrid model or from the office (Cracow / Warsaw)
  • Opportunities to play board games during and after work :)
  • Private medical care (Luxmed) for you and your family
  • Mental health support - co-financing of counseling and psychological services
  • MultiSport card and personal training budget
  • Opportunity to collaborate with multiple publishers and gain insider knowledge of their products

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
