Location: Paris (11e arrondissement)

Mission:

As Finance Manager, you run finance end to end and act as the commercial partner of every team. Reporting to the Head of Finance & Operations, you lead a team made up of a senior FP&A analyst and an FP&A intern, and work closely with our external accountant. You own the numbers, the controls and the banking and tax relationships, turn data into decisions and automate what should not be done by hand. You will shape the role with us.

Responsibilities:

  • Finance, Accounting & Control : oversee the monthly close and the annual closing, guaranteeing reliable, timely accounts across our French, US and Retail entities with our external accountant and auditors. Keep us compliant on tax, VAT and statutory obligations, and own tax matters with external advisors. Set up and maintain internal controls (purchase approval, supplier invoice validation, payment processes, segregation of duties). Oversee the legal and corporate housekeeping of the group entities with legal advisors.
  • Treasury & Financing : manage cash forecasting, banking relationships and operations, including intra-group flows. Anticipate financing needs and support discussions with banks alongside the Head of Finance & Operations.
  • FP&A & Performance Management : lead the budget, quarterly reforecast and long-term planning, and build the scenarios behind key decisions. Analyse profitability by brand, channel, product and customer, explain variances and recommend actions. Contribute to the preparation of board and investor reporting with the Head of Finance & Operations. Own the finance KPI framework and the performance dashboards used by each team.
  • Business Partnering : partner with internal teams (Acquisition, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Care, Retail, etc.) and external vendors (payment solution providers, etc.), challenge assumptions, size trade-offs and help teams make better calls on pricing, promotions, inventory, investments and expansion.
  • Automation & AI : map finance processes, identify what can be automated and deliver it (reporting, reconciliations, payments, invoice processing). Test and deploy AI where it saves real time or improves decisions, and measure the gains.
  • Team Leadership : manage, coach and develop the senior FP&A analyst and the FP&A intern, and grow the team as the company grows.

Key Results :

  • Monthly and annual closings delivered on time, with reliable accounts across French, US and retail entities.
  • Full compliance on tax, VAT and statutory obligations.
  • Internal controls in place and applied across purchasing, invoicing and payments.
  • Reliable cash forecast and financing needs anticipated.
  • Budget and quarterly reforecasts delivered, variances explained with recommended actions.
  • Finance KPIs and dashboards trusted and actively used by each team.
  • Finance processes automated, with time gains measured.
  • A finance function seen by the business as a partner, not a back office.

Specific Skills:

  • Accounting & closing : month-end and year-end closing, French GAAP, VAT, statutory obligations.
  • FP&A : budgeting, forecasting, margin and cash analysis
  • Business partnering.
  • Data tools : advanced Excel or Sheets, SQL, a BI tool (Looker Studio or similar) and AI fluency.
  • Team management / coaching.
  • Fluent English and French.

Profil

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in finance, ideally split between an audit or advisory firm and a fast-growing consumer, e-commerce, retail or scale-up company.
  • Hands-on track record of running monthly close, budget cycles, cash management and operating performance analysis.
  • Proven business partnering : you have changed a decision made by a non-finance leader, with numbers.
  • Experience managing or coaching a small team.
  • Nice to have : e-commerce, DTC, retail or consumer goods background; exposure to multi-entity or international structures (US subsidiary); treasury and bank financing; automating finance work with scripts, no-code tools or AI
  • How you work : drive and ownership, commercial instinct, curiosity about performance, change appetite, rigour and pragmatism.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
