Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in enterprise technology/cloud sales, management consulting, or partner management, and with business development and strategy.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently as this is a customer facing role that requires communication with local Japanese customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • Experience in business development, consulting, or strategic sales in the technology industry, promoting Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) or Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS).
  • Experience working across multiple organizations to drive complex initiatives to resolution, and successfully operating in a fluid, high-impact work environment.
  • Knowledge of AI Natives and of the emerging Gen-AI industry tech stack.
  • Understanding of GCP’s AI Infrastructure and strategic agreement cycles.
  • Excellent communications skills.

As an AI Infrastructure Go-To-Market (GTM) Lead you will be responsible to drive exponential business growth for Google Cloud with AI Infrastructure (GPU and TPUs) partnerships and strategic customer engagements across GCP’s GTM segments and verticals. You will collaborate across Field Sales, AI Infra tech specialists, Capacity, Product, Engineering and Finance to develop and grow long-term AI Infra partnerships and operate at the C-Level internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Google Cloud’s most strategic and complex AI Infrastructure agreement cycles with a customer-first mindset, strong sense of ownership and accountability for the success of the partnership.
  • Drive commercial best-practices and profitability for GCP’s AI Infrastructure in close collaboration with the Finance, Product, and the leadership teams.
  • Develop and implement regional/industry specific GTM strategies jointly with the broader AI Infrastructure team and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Build and deepen trusted relationships with the C-suite of GCP’s most strategic AI Infra customers, influence long-term strategic direction, and serve as a business partner.
  • Drive and grow AI Infra business for Google Cloud through new, expanded or accelerated AI infra partnerships and strategic customer engagements across GCP’s GTM segments.
