Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of experience working in business operations and product launches.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing and refining processes with a focus on action and accountability.
  • Management of complex cross-functional programs with internal and external teams; with the ability to balance multiple projects with dynamic timelines simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships to facilitate effective collaboration, information gathering and decision making.
  • Natural leader with the ability to motivate and manage teams directly and indirectly.
  • AI fluency across a suite of Gemini and third-party tools.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and intellectual flexibility.

This role is part of the Google Home and Health Business Management arm for Devices and Services, and specifically in the team that leads hardware NPI (new product introduction) for Google Home (Nest) and Google Health (Fitbit), The team is responsible for launching and landing key NPIs, leading cross functional complex programs with stakeholders at all levels.Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. We research, design, and develop new technologies and hardware to make our user's interaction with computing faster, seamless, and more powerful. Whether finding new ways to capture and sense the world around us, advancing form factors, or improving interaction methods, the Devices & Services team is making people's lives better through technology.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $176000 - $256000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional teams (Business, Marketing, Product Planning, Logistics, Finance, Hardware, Software, Apps, Legal, Compliance etc.) to deliver product launches across Home (Nest) and Health (Fitbit’s)’s current and forthcoming portfolio of products.
  • Lead highly visible programs, developing executional strategy and crafting an aligned and streamlined goal and operational plan, provide technical and infrastructure expertise to enable scale across product.
  • Build productive and synergistic relationships with internal cross-functional teams and leaders, while driving consensus and accountability across all functions at all levels.
  • Develop end-to-end schedules, track key milestones, and create contingency plans for high-risk deliverables.
  • Communicate priorities, risks, and schedules to executive management, while also providing expertise and thought leadership to drive efficiency in overall launch operations.
