Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in C++, Java, or Go.
  • 5 years of experience designing scalable distributed systems and APIs.
  • Experience building available systems and designing for resilience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in delivering cloud based products.

The EasySaaS team is building a core platform layer in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) enabling teams—both inside Google and external ISV/SaaS producers—to build managed SaaS services at scale. These products can be automatically deployed, upgraded, and managed across Google Cloud Platform, Google Distributed Cloud, and other cloud environments, making EasySaaS a critical driver of GCP’s growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical direction of a large part of EasySaaS — driving architecture, external APIs, etc.
  • Ensure proper scalability (many SaaS service producers are deploying millions of instances of their service) and reliability.
  • Provide technical oversight over the delivery of projects and their quality.
  • Work with key stakeholders and key customers — both internally and externally (in cooperation with the product) — to translate their needs and constraints into technical designs and technical roadmaps.
