The posting

The North America team is seeking a Research & Testing Engineering Technician for our Assumption, IL facility to support the development, validation, and continuous improvement of new and existing products through hands-on fabrication, assembly, testing, and evaluation activities while working closely with product development teams.

Your Impact

Partner with Engineering teams to develop, build, and evaluate new product concepts.

Construct prototype equipment and assemblies from engineering drawings, CAD models, and sketches. Fabricate test fixtures, tooling, and mockups required for product validation. Work with engineers in troubleshooting design issues and implementing design improvements.

Testing & Validation

Set up and conduct lab, shop, and field tests. Collect and document test data. Analyze results and assist with root cause investigations.

Fabrication, Welding & Machining

Fabricate components using steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Perform MIG and stick welding. Operate saws, grinders, drills, mills, lathes, and related equipment.

Your Experience and Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent experience. 3+ years of fabrication, welding, manufacturing, testing, or product development experience. Ability to read engineering drawings and CAD-generated prints.

Your Compensation and Benefits Expected hourly rate for this role will be $30 - $36 / hour plus an annual bonus target. This is dependent upon job related knowledge, experience, and skills.
