The posting

Salary: $70,000 – $86,000 | Direct Hire

Location: Finger Lakes Region, in Cayuga NY

Relocation Assistance + Tuition Reimbursement Available

The Opportunity

If you're an SLP who wants to treat across the full continuum — inpatient, outpatient, ALC, and Skilled Nursing — instead of being boxed into one setting, this role gives you that breadth. You'll work directly within an interdisciplinary therapy team, helping patients recover communication, swallowing, and cognitive function across a genuinely diverse caseload. It's direct hire, it comes with relocation support, and there's real investment in where your career goes from here.

Why You'll Love This Role

This isn't a single-setting role that limits your scope of practice. You'll work across inpatient, outpatient, ALC, and Skilled Nursing settings, building a skill set most SLPs only get in pieces.

Compensation runs $70,000–$86,000, with relocation assistance built in if you're moving to the area — plus full medical, dental, and vision coverage, generous PTO and paid holidays, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.

Tuition reimbursement and continuing education support mean this employer is backing your growth, not just filling a seat. You'll also have mentorship opportunities and a clear path for advancement.

The team itself values open communication and whole-person care — you're joining a group that mentors, not just supervises.

And then there's where you'll actually live. The Finger Lakes region puts you near Cayuga Lake, surrounded by scenic trails, wineries, and farm-to-table culture, with a lower cost of living and a tight-knit community. Ithaca and Auburn are close by, and Rochester and Syracuse are within an hour or two if you want a bigger city fix.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Evaluate patients and build individualized treatment plans based on physician prescriptions
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and clinical reports accurately and on time
  • Coordinate regularly with physicians and the broader care team on patient progress
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and home strategies
  • Mentor and direct support staff involved in patient care
  • Maintain therapy equipment and help expand speech therapy services
  • Participate in in-services, committees, and ongoing professional development
  • Provide age-appropriate care across the full patient population

What We're Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
  • Eligible for New York State licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
  • 1–2 years of hospital experience preferred
  • Able to perform frequent standing and intermittent patient lifting, positioning, or transferring

Why Candidates Say Yes

The combination of multi-setting clinical variety, real tuition support, and a relocation package to a region known for its quality of life is a rare pairing. For SLPs who want to keep growing their clinical range without sacrificing work-life balance, this checks both boxes.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
