The posting

  • Do you enjoy keeping complex event logistics organized, on track and running smoothly?
  • Are you highly organized, detail-oriented and confident managing multiple stakeholders, deadlines and priorities?
  • Do you enjoy working directly with teams and solving logistical challenges before they become problems?
  • Do you have a passion for esports and want to play a key role in delivering a great tournament experience for participating teams?

If the answers to the above questions are yes, then this role could be ideal for you!

GRID is looking for a Tournament Logistics Operator to join our Tournament Services team and take ownership of the operational logistics that support our tournaments.

You will be a key point of contact for participating teams throughout the tournament lifecycle, coordinating Team Participation Agreements, prize money processes, travel arrangements and other team logistics. Working closely with Tournament Services, Finance and Legal, as well as esports teams, travel providers and other tournament stakeholders, you will ensure that every requirement is understood, delivered accurately and completed on time.

This role combines team relationship management, financial and legal coordination, travel logistics and operational execution. You will manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously, identify potential issues before they become blockers, communicate clearly and provide teams with timely, professional support throughout their engagement with GRID.

From preparing teams ahead of an event to supporting them during the tournament and ensuring all outstanding requirements are closed afterward, you will play an important role in making sure the team experience is smooth, efficient, and well-organized.

What you will do

  • Before the tournament Coordinate the operational logistics required for participating teams, including Team Participation Agreements, prize money and travel. Coordinate with participating teams, Tournament Services, Finance and Legal to ensure requirements are understood and delivered on time. Manage team travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, visas and other event-related logistics where required. Identify logistical risks and coordinate their resolution.
  • During the tournament Act as the primary point of contact for participating teams regarding tournament logistics and provide timely operational support. Maintain clear communication between teams and relevant GRID stakeholders to ensure logistical issues do not impact tournament delivery.
  • After the tournament Coordinate outstanding prize money, TPA, and travel-related requirements through to completion. Maintain accurate logistics records and provide visibility of outstanding actions and key operational information. Support post-event reviews and identify opportunities to improve team logistics and the overall team experience.

What Success Looks Like

  • Prize money payment cycles and Team Participation Agreements are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Participating teams receive timely, professional and consistent support throughout their engagement with GRID.
  • Tournament travel is delivered efficiently and with minimal disruption to tournament delivery.
  • Finance, Legal and Tournament Services have the information required to complete their responsibilities on time.
  • Team logistics requirements, risks and outstanding actions are identified and managed proactively.
  • Teams have clear visibility of relevant requirements, timelines and changes throughout the tournament lifecycle.
  • Logistical issues are resolved quickly or escalated appropriately when required.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience working directly with esports teams, players or tournament participants.
  • Experience in esports tournament logistics, team services, event operations or travel coordination.
  • Experience coordinating participation agreements, contracts, invoices, prize money or other event-related financial processes.
  • Experience coordinating prize money, invoices, payments or other event-related financial processes.
  • Experience managing international team travel, including flights, accommodation, visas, ground transportation or hospitality.
  • Experience managing travel budgets, event expenditure or supplier costs.
  • Additional language skills relevant to GRID's tournament regions.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
