What Your Day Will Look Like

As a Caregiver with Griswold Home Care for Frederick County, you take pride in helping older adults stay in the homes they love and live life on their own terms. You support clients with everyday tasks so they can stay as independent as possible, and they appreciate the upbeat attitude you bring. Whether it’s light housekeeping, cooking a meal, or picking up groceries, you handle each task with cheerful, steady efficiency.

From time to time, you care for clients living with dementia or other cognitive changes. You stay patient and kind as you help with needs like eating and bathing, and your respectful approach helps clients keep their dignity and feel comfortable.

You also keep accurate notes on each shift and check in with the office often, so clients get consistent care from one visit to the next. At the end of every day, you head home proud, knowing you made a real difference in someone’s life

Who We're Looking For

  • A caring, reliable, and responsible person ready to make a real impact
  • CNA certification is a plus, but not required
  • CPR Certification required
  • COMFORTABLE WORKING IN PET-FRIENDLY HOMES, INCLUDING CATS AND DOGS
  • TB Clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations
  • At least one year of caregiving or home care experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration
  • Willingness to travel within the Frederick County service area
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
