With these innovations, Grote has helped millions of people throughout North America and the world benefit from the innovation and design excellence of Grote products.   Position Summary:        The Head of Finance – Networks serves as the sole finance leader and operator for the Grote Networks business. This is a hands-on role responsible not only for setting financial strategy, but also for executing day-to-day financial planning, analysis, reporting, and modeling for this new and rapidly growing segment.                                      As the dedicated finance resource for the division, this individual will personally build financial models, prepare forecasts, analyze results, develop dashboards, support pricing decisions, and ensure accurate revenue recognition. While the role operates at a strategic leadership level and partners closely with the VP & GM of Grote Networks, it is also responsible for performing the detailed analytical and operational finance work required to support commercialization and scale-up.                                     This position will play a critical role in building the financial foundation of the Networks business, with the potential to grow into a broader finance team as the segment expands.       Position Duties:              - Serve as the primary financial partner to the VP & GM of Grote Networks, providing strategic financial guidance, business insights, and data-driven recommendations to support growth and profitability.                                        - Develop and maintain annual budgets, long-range financial plans, rolling forecasts, and detailed financial models to support business objectives and strategic initiatives.                                      - Build and manage SaaS financial models, including Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), customer churn, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), and gross margin analysis.                                      - Evaluate strategic investments, partnerships, product launches, and growth opportunities through financial modeling, ROI, NPV, IRR, and scenario analysis.                                     - Prepare and present monthly financial reports, variance analyses, executive dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor financial and operational performance.                                      - Ensure compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards for software subscriptions, installation services, bundled solutions, and other complex customer agreements.                                     - Partner with Corporate Accounting to support month-end closing activities, revenue reporting, financial controls, audit requirements, and accurate financial reporting.                                      - Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product, Operations, and Corporate Finance to support pricing strategies, commercialization initiatives, customer contracts, and profitability optimization.                                     - Establish, document, and continuously improve financial processes, reporting structures, internal controls, and policies to support the growth and scalability of Grote Networks.                                     - Operate independently as a hands-on finance leader, balancing strategic financial planning with detailed analysis, problem-solving, and execution in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.                                                                              Requirements:              The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business, with an MBA, Master’s in Finance, CPA, or CMA preferred. A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or strategic business partnering is required, preferably within manufacturing, automotive, industrial products, or technology industries. Candidates should demonstrate strong experience with SaaS and recurring-revenue business models, ASC 606 revenue recognition, advanced financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems is essential, with experience in JD Edwards E1, Spreadsheet Server, Oracle EPBCS, and SmartView preferred. The successful candidate will possess exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations. This individual must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently, establish financial processes and controls, collaborate across departments, and manage multiple priorities while supporting strategic growth initiatives.
