DESCRIPTION SOMMAIRE DU POSTE

Sous la supervision de la chef d'unité et en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe infirmière et clinique, vous serez responsable de :

  • Assistance quotidienne : Aider les résidents dans leurs activités essentielles telles que l’hygiène, l’alimentation, l’élimination, ainsi que dans leurs occupations et leur sommeil.
  • Bien-être et confort : Assurer un environnement sécuritaire et agréable, tout en favorisant le bien-être physique et émotionnel des résidents. Veiller à donner aux bénéficiaires le soutien approprié et à respecter leur intégrité et leur dignité.
  • Observation et surveillance : Observer attentivement les résidents et rapporter toute anomalie à l'équipe soignante. Les préposés jouent un rôle clé dans la surveillance continue et la communication des besoins des résidents.
  • Soutien émotionnel : Offrir un soutien affectif et une écoute attentive, contribuant ainsi à l’amélioration de la qualité de vie des résidents.
  • Gestion de l’environnement : Maintenir la propreté et l'ordre dans les espaces communs et privés des résidents, garantissant un milieu de vie agréable.
  • Mobilité et transport : Aider les résidents dans leurs déplacements, les accompagner lors de sorties et veiller à leur sécurité.

EXIGENCES ET COMPÉTENCES RECHERCHÉES

Voici les critères essentiels que nous recherchons pour ce poste :

  • Expérience : Posséder au moins 1 an d'expérience auprès des personnes âgées.
  • Formation : L’un des parcours suivants :
  • Cours de préposé aux bénéficiaires d’au moins 750 heures, incluant la certification PDSB.
  • Un an de formation en santé, assistance et soins infirmiers (SASI) avec un premier stage, incluant la certification PDSP.
  • Un an de formation collégiale en soins infirmiers avec un premier stage, incluant la certification PDSP.
  • Capacité à travailler en équipe : Avoir une bonne capacité à collaborer avec divers professionnels et à travailler en équipe.
  • Communication : Savoir communiquer vos besoins et défis quotidiens de manière claire et constructive.
  • Assiduité et ponctualité : Être assidu(e) et ponctuel(le) dans votre travail.
  • Valeurs partagées : Adhérer à nos valeurs d’écoute, de bienveillance, de respect et d’empathie.
  • Langues : Maîtriser le français (parlé et écrit), l’anglais est un atout.
