Work Structure
The role follows a hybrid international sales model:
- United States (6 Months) Extensive travel across the U.S. market. Focus on business development, customer acquisition, relationship management, and market expansion.
- Mumbai, India (6 Months) Based at the One BKC office in Mumbai. Working in the night shift (U.S. business hours). Handling inside sales, customer follow-ups, account management, and coordination with U.S. - based clients and partners.
ABOUT THE ROLE — READ THIS PART CAREFULLY
Grown Diamond Corporation (GDC) is seeking an ambitious and driven sales professional to help expand our presence across the United States.
This is not a desk job, and it is not a pure travel job. It is two demanding roles in one person, alternating through the year:
• 6 months a year, you're on the U.S. road — flying between states, walking into independent jewelry retailers, presenting GDC's lab-grown diamond jewelry in person, and closing B2B orders.
• 6 months a year, you're in Mumbai on U.S. business hours — an evening-to-early- morning shift (IST) servicing those same accounts: reorders, follow-ups, new-collection pushes, and keeping every relationship warm until your next trip.
The customer who meets you in their store deals with your voice year-round. That continuity is the job. If the night-shift half sounds like a dealbreaker, this role isn't the right fit — and that's okay.

ABOUT GDC
We're a lab-grown diamond and jewellery manufacturer-exporter. We manufacture finished diamond jewelry at scale — headquartered in Mumbai, with our factory in Surat and offices in New York and Dubai. We already supply some of the largest names in U.S. jewelry retail, and we're now building a direct field-sales channel to independent American jewelers. This role is at the center of that expansion.
What you'll be selling is finished jewelry — and it's not a commodity. Our pieces are set with super-ideal-cut, GDC-origin-certified diamonds — a branded, differentiated, manufacturer- priced line you can build a real pitch around, not loose goods any dealer can undercut tomorrow.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
On the road (U.S. months)
• Work a curated, financially-vetted target list of independent U.S. jewelers — we hand you pre-scored leads loaded in Salesforce; you're not prospecting from a blank page
• Present and sell GDC's finished jewelry lines, curated retail assortments, and new launches in person
• Open and close new high-value B2B accounts
• Run store appointments, trade meetings, and sales events
• Own and execute a structured territory plan
From India (night-shift months)
• Service your accounts on U.S. hours — reorders, follow-ups, and new-line pushes
• Keep Salesforce accurate and current
• Coordinate internally for samples, pricing, quality checks, certifications, and shipments
• Feed U.S. market and product signals back to our merchandising and design teams
WHO YOU ARE
Must-have
• A valid U.S. B1/B2 visa — non-negotiable. Applicants without a current visa cannot be considered for this role.
• Minimum 2 years in B2B sales of jewelry, diamonds, or another high-ticket product (watches, luxury goods, premium fashion accessories)
• A genuine hunter who can walk into a cold store and open a relationship — and the discipline to work a book of accounts at 2 a.m. without being chased
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills; polished, presentable, and comfortable representing a premium product
• Comfortable traveling independently for extended stretches, and comfortable with a night shift during India months
• A proven track record of independently closing B2B deals
Preferred
• Existing relationships with independent U.S. jewelry retailers
• Familiarity with lab-grown diamonds, IGI certification, jewelry assortments, SKUs, and stone quality
• Salesforce experience
• Prior U.S. market exposure
WHAT WE OFFER
• Competitive base salary ( 6 to 9 LPA ), based on experience) covering your India months
• Uncapped performance commission on collected sales, in both phases — strong performers realistically earn 12 to 18+ LPA total, with no ceiling
