Do you have what we’re looking for?

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in bid preparation, estimating, distribution, or project management within the electrical industry.
  • Functional bilingualism (French and English).
  • Excellent ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Organized, rigorous, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyze technical needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Knowledge of Schneider Electric products is an asset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with various stakeholders (sales, purchasing, suppliers, project teams).
  • Proficiency in Excel and computer tools.
  • Strong sense of priorities, autonomy, attention to detail, and an understanding of client, market, and competitive dynamics.

Here is what a typical day looks like:

  • Analyze tenders, requests for quotes, blueprints, and technical specifications to fully understand project scope.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, lead times, and commercial terms.
  • Prepare complete, accurate, and competitive bids that meet client requirements.
  • Verify the compliance of proposed products and ensure submission deadlines are met.
  • Work closely with sales representatives and project teams to define bidding strategies and optimize pricing.
  • Participate in negotiations and price adjustments as needed.
  • Update pricing, product, and supplier databases.
  • Document all estimates, revisions, and project-related communications.
  • Manage multiple tenders simultaneously in a dynamic environment. Follow up on quotations to facilitate their conversion into orders.
  • Participate in handing over projects to coordinators to ensure execution aligns with the estimate.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the quotation process.
  • Assist the project team in resolving technical issues.

As‑tu ce qu’on recherche?

  • Expérience de 3 à 5 ans en préparation de soumissions, estimation, distribution ou gestion de projets dans le domaine électrique.
  • Bilinguisme fonctionnel (français et anglais).
  • Excellente capacité à lire et interpréter des plans, devis et documents techniques.
  • Personne organisée, rigoureuse et capable de gérer plusieurs dossiers en parallèle.
  • Capacité à analyser des besoins techniques et à proposer des solutions adaptées.
  • Connaissance des produits Schneider Electric, un atout
  • Aisance en communication et en collaboration avec plusieurs intervenants (ventes, achats, fournisseurs, équipe projets).
  • Maîtrise d’Excel et des outils informatiques.
  • Sens des priorités, autonomie et souci du détail et compréhension des enjeux clients, marché et concurrence.

Voici une journée type :

  • Analyser les appels d’offres, demandes de prix, plans et spécifications techniques afin de bien comprendre la portée des projets.
  • Coordonner avec les fournisseurs pour obtenir les prix, disponibilités, délais et conditions commerciales.
  • Préparer des soumissions complètes, précises, compétitives et conformes aux exigences des clients.
  • Vérifier la conformité des produits proposés et assurer le respect des échéanciers de dépôt.
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les représentants des ventes et les équipes projets pour définir la stratégie d’appel d’offres et optimiser la tarification.
  • Participer aux négociations et ajustements de prix lorsque nécessaire.
  • Mettre à jour les bases de données de prix, produits et fournisseurs.
  • Documenter toutes les estimations, révisions et communications liées aux projets.
  • Gérer plusieurs appels d’offres simultanément dans un environnement dynamique.
  • Assurer le suivi des soumissions afin de favoriser leur conversion en commandes.
  • Participer au transfert des projets vers les coordonnateurs pour assurer une exécution cohérente avec l’estimation.
  • Identifier des opportunités d’amélioration des processus de soumission.
  • Assister l’équipe projet dans la résolution de questions techniques.
