Som ledsager har man et alsidigt job, hvor man hjælper borgere med et fysisk eller psykisk handicap til at få oplevelser uden for hjemmet.

Generelt har vi brug for ledsagere i disse områder

  • Stubbekøbing
  • Guldborg
  • Sakskøbing
  • Nykøbing og omegn.

Det er muligt som borger at få bevilget op til 15 timers ledsagelse per måned, hvis man har et handicap, der gør, at man ikke på egen hånd kan færdes uden for sit hjem eller den institution, man bor på.

Jobbet som ledsager er meget varierende, alt efter, hvad borgeren ønsker. Ledsageren hjælper borgeren, som den forlængede arm i forhold til udfordringen for borger – dog ikke personlig pleje. Aktiviteterne uden for hjemmet kan være alt fra indkøb, biograf, gåture og deltagelse i kulturelle arrangementer – alt efter borgerens ønsker.

Arbejdsforhold Vagtlængden som ledsager varierer meget i forhold til opgaven borgeren har, og af samme grund er det på timeløn, da det er borger som bestemmer om de vil bruge 0 eller 15 t. mdl. Kørekort er ofte en forudsætning.

  • Fleksibilitet i forhold til arbejdstider
  • Indlevelsesevne og situationsfornemmelse.
  • Pligtopfyldende

Der er ikke krav om en særlig uddannelse for at arbejde som ledsager.
