The posting

This position is responsible for the market development and commercial management of power EPC projects in Brazil, with a primary focus on renewable energy, including solar, wind, energy storage, substations and transmission lines. The role requires the candidate to independently drive project opportunities, maintain key stakeholder relationships, coordinate internal and external resources, support tendering and contract negotiation, and promote project conversion and business growth in the local market.

Responsibilities and Attributions Be responsible for market development and commercial advancement of EPC projects in Brazil’s renewable and clean energy sector, identifying, tracking, and driving key project opportunities.Lead early-stage project development activities, including market intelligence collection, opportunity screening, client engagement, demand alignment, project planning, and advancement of priority projects. Establish and maintain strong relationships with government authorities, energy regulatory bodies, project developers, project owners, business partners, and other key stakeholders. Continuously monitor Brazil’s renewable and clean energy policies, regulatory requirements, investment plans, procurement information, market dynamics, and competitive landscape, and provide sound market judgment and development recommendations. Organize and support tendering-related work, including bid opportunity assessment, commercial strategy formulation, preparation of commercial proposals, coordination of internal processes, and follow-up on key milestones. Participate in commercial negotiations, review, and execution of EPC contracts, procurement contracts, subcontracting agreements, and other related cooperation agreements. Follow up on commercial matters during project execution, including payments, variations, claims, settlements, and contract-related coordination. Coordinate internal resources across technical, commercial, legal, procurement, financing, and management functions as required by project needs, in order to drive substantive project progress. Conduct project-related information analysis, competitor assessment, cooperation model evaluation, and risk identification for key opportunities, and provide decision-making support to management.Represent the company in client visits, government communications, project presentations, business receptions, and other external commercial activities, safeguarding the company’s brand image and business reputation in the local market. When team resources are available, coordinate and mobilize the team to advance project objectives; when team support is limited, work independently and deliver business results autonomously.

Requisites and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, International Trade, Business Administration, Law, Portuguese, or related disciplines. At least 5 years of experience in commercial management, business development, project development, or EPC-related work in renewable energy, energy, or infrastructure sectors. Familiarity with the development logic of renewable and clean energy projects; experience in wind power, solar power, energy storage, hydrogen, biomass, hydropower, pumped storage, or related sectors is preferred. Good understanding of EPC business processes and international engineering contract models, including familiarity with FIDIC or similar frameworks. Strong capabilities in market development, commercial negotiation, project advancement, resource integration, and cross-cultural communication. Proven ability to independently conduct market development and drive projects forward; when team support is available, able to organize and coordinate relevant resources effectively to achieve business objectives. Familiarity with Brazil’s local policy environment, regulatory framework, project development practices, and key market participants is preferred. Strong external relationship management capability; existing resources or connections with government authorities, energy agencies, project developers, major clients, or industry partners will be an advantage. Fluency in Portuguese is required; English proficiency is preferred; Chinese language skills will be an advantage. Able to adapt to an overseas working environment, frequent business travel, and a project-driven work pace, with flexibility in working hours based on business needs.
