Als Data Analyst bei happyhotel übernimmst du ab Tag 1 Ownership über unsere gesamte Analytics-Landschaft – von der Pipeline bis zum Insight. Du challengst den Status quo, bringst AI-first-Denken in jeden Winkel unserer Datenarbeit und machst aus Rohdaten echte Hebel für Product, Sales und Customer Success.

🤝 DEINE AUFGABEN

- Own the Stack: Du verantwortest unseren modernen Data Stack end-to-end – Fivetran (Ingestion), Snowflake (Warehouse) und Metabase (BI & Reporting). Kein Micromanagement, volle Ownership.

- Challenge Everything: Du hinterfragst bestehende Prozesse, Metriken und Datenmodelle. Wenn etwas keinen Sinn ergibt, baust du es neu – besser.

- AI-First Analytics: Du integrierst AI/ML-Ansätze in Analysen und Workflows, wo sie echten Mehrwert schaffen – von automatisierten Anomalie-Erkennungen bis hin zu Predictive Analytics für Churn, Upsell oder Produktnutzung.

- Datenmodellierung & Transformation: Du designst saubere, skalierbare Datenmodelle in Snowflake mit dbt – und pflegst die Transformations- und Modelllogik mit hohem Qualitätsanspruch.

- Self-Service Enablement: Du befähigst Teams, eigenständig datengetriebene Entscheidungen zu treffen – durch klare Dashboards, KPI-Standards und Trainings in Metabase.

- Ad-hoc Deep Dives: Du führst schnelle, pragmatische Analysen für Business-Entscheidungen durch – ob in SQL, Python oder Excel, Hauptsache der Insight kommt schnell und ist actionable.

- Stakeholder-Kommunikation: Du nimmst Anforderungen aus Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, Customer Success und dem Leadership Team auf, priorisiert nach Impact und ROI und übersetzt sie in klare, nutzbare Datenlösungen.

- Data Governance: Du etablierst Standards für Datenqualität, Naming Conventions und Dokumentation – damit unser Data Layer mit uns skaliert.

💙 DEIN PROFIL

- 5+ Jahre Erfahrung als (Senior) Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer oder in einer vergleichbaren Rolle – idealerweise im SaaS- oder Tech-Umfeld.

- Du konzipierst und baust eine skalierbare Daten-/Analytics-Infrastruktur für eine gesamte Abteilung und entwickelst sie entlang von Best Practices kontinuierlich weiter.

- Umfassende Snowflake-Erfahrung: Performance-Optimierung, Data Sharing sowie skalierbare Warehouse-Architekturen gehören für dich zum Alltag.

- Sehr gute SQL-Kenntnisse: komplexe Queries, Window Functions und CTEs nutzt du sicher.

- Du kennst Reverse ETL, um Daten in operativen Tools zu aktivieren.

- Hands-on mit Fivetran: Du konfigurierst Connectoren, managst Pipelines und integrierst Datenquellen sauber und zuverlässig.

- Metabase Power User: Du erstellst nicht nur Dashboards, sondern etablierst Metabase als Self-Service-BI für das gesamte Unternehmen (Governance, Enablement, Standards).

- AI-first Mindset: Du setzt LLMs, AI-Tools und Automatisierung aktiv im Alltag ein und identifizierst kontinuierlich Potenziale zur Prozessverbesserung.

- Ownership-Mentalität: Du wartest nicht auf Tickets, sondern erkennst Probleme frühzeitig und löst sie proaktiv.
