Your mission

Wil jij bijdragen aan de missie van Hartwig Medical Foundation om de zorg voor patiënten met kanker te verbeteren?

Hartwig werkt intensief samen met ziekenhuizen, onderzoeksinstellingen en technologiepartners, nationaal en internationaal. In deze samenwerking staan patiëntdata, innovatie en regelgeving centraal en zijn deze onlosmakelijk met elkaar verbonden. Als Legal Counsel zorg jij ervoor dat deze samenwerkingen juridisch stevig, werkbaar en toekomstbestendig zijn. Je helpt Hartwig om schaalbaar en compliant te groeien binnen een complexe omgeving op het snijvlak van data en health tech. Je maakt deel uit van een klein en betrokken juridisch team met een brede scope: contractenrecht, corporate governance, regulatory compliance en datarecht. Je adviseert verschillende business units, begeleidt samenwerkingen en innovatieprojecten en schakelt waar nodig externe adviseurs in. Zo heb je directe impact in een organisatie waar juridische keuzes bijdragen aan oplossingen voor patiënten die er écht toe doen.

Your profile

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Ontwerpen, beoordelen en onderhandelen van contracten met nationale en internationale partijen, waaronder overeenkomsten voor diagnostische dienstverlening, SaaS, Service Level Agreements, samenwerkingen, inkoop en data sharing.
  • Ontwikkelen, implementeren en onderhouden van contracttemplates, modelclausules en juridische standaarden, met oog voor schaalbaarheid en praktische toepasbaarheid binnen de organisatie.
  • Adviseren van business units en teams over juridische vraagstukken rondom compliance, samenwerking en research- & development projecten.
  • Ondersteuning bij de implementatie van nieuwe wet- en regelgeving, waaronder de AVG/GDPR en Europese regelgeving zoals de AI Act, en deze vertalen naar werkbare processen en kaders.
  • Opstellen, actualiseren en borgen van interne policies, juridische procedures, registers en kwaliteitsstandaarden.
  • Coördineren van de inzet van externe juridische adviseurs waar nodig.
  • Ondersteuning bij de compliance- en governance activiteiten binnen een internationale context en het proactief signaleren van juridische risico's.

Over jou

  • Circa 4 tot 6 jaar relevante werkervaring als advocaat of in-house Legal Counsel.
  • Ervaring met contractenrecht en het juridisch ondersteunen van samenwerkingen, bij voorkeur binnen een technologiegedreven omgeving.
  • Ervaring met compliance en het vertalen en toepassen van wet- en regelgeving naar de praktijk.
  • Kennis van IT-, software- of SaaS-dienstverlening is een sterke pré.
  • Kennis van of affiniteit met AVG/GDPR, de AI Act en de bescherming van gezondheidsdata is een pré.
  • Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Sterk analytisch vermogen, juridisch nauwkeurig en uitstekende onderhandelings- en redactievaardigheden.
  • In staat om juridische vraagstukken te vertalen naar praktische, werkbare adviezen.
  • Pragmatische, proactieve en resultaatgerichte werkstijl, met goed gevoel voor prioriteiten in een snelgroeiende, innovatieve organisatie.
  • Zelfstandig opererend, actief op zoek naar samenwerking en comfortabel in een missiegedreven omgeving.
