Success requires a leader who combines strong customer relationship management, advanced analytical capabilities, commercial judgment, and the ability to influence cross-functional decisions in a dynamic retail environment.

Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday –Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro’s temporary location in Boston, MA.

A Day in the Life as a CPFR Director:

  • Partner closely with Hasbro’s Target Sales Leadership to support account strategies, joint business planning, revenue growth, and retail execution.
  • Represent the commercial and customer perspective in cross-functional planning discussions, ensuring decisions reflect retail demand, inventory requirements, and business priorities.
  • Lead customer-facing business reviews focused on inventory health, replenishment performance, service levels, forecast alignment, and improvement opportunities.
  • Proactively identify business risks, recommend solutions, and drive accountability across internal and external stakeholders.

Demand Planning & Forecast Collaboration

  • Analyze Target POS, inventory positions, replenishment trends, and customer forecasts to identify risks and opportunities impacting retail sales and inventory performance.
  • Collaborate with Hasbro’s Demand Planning organization to ensure customer-specific intelligence, retail trends, promotional expectations, and emerging demand signals are reflected in planning assumptions.
  • Identify forecast gaps, potential bias, and changes in customer demand, providing data-driven recommendations to improve forecast quality and business alignment.

Replenishment & Inventory Optimization

  • Lead collaborative replenishment strategies designed to maximize Target in-stock performance, optimize inventory productivity, and minimize lost sales opportunities.
  • Monitor item-level inventory performance across Target distribution centers and stores to identify potential out-of-stocks, excess inventory, and replenishment inefficiencies.
  • Identify root causes of replenishment challenges and work cross-functionally to implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Partner with Hasbro’s Flow Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics, and Customer Operations teams to align inventory availability with customer replenishment requirements.
  • Evaluate inventory health, weeks of supply, replenishment trends, and sell-through performance to recommend actions that balance product availability with inventory efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer ordering patterns, replenishment parameters, and inventory flow to support sustainable sales growth.

Promotional, Seasonal & New Product Execution

  • Lead customer inventory and replenishment planning in support of Target promotional programs, seasonal initiatives, modular transitions, and new product introductions.
  • Partner with Target Sales, Demand Planning, and Flow Planning to align anticipated retail demand with product availability, customer order requirements, and timing-to-retail objectives.
  • Anticipate inventory needs and potential supply risks associated with high-volume events, seasonal peaks, and critical product launches.
  • Monitor promotional and new product performance, identifying replenishment adjustments needed to maximize retail sales opportunities.
  • Drive cross-functional visibility to customer commitments, business-critical dates, and execution risks.
  • Lead post-event inventory and replenishment analysis to identify opportunities for improved future execution.

Supply Alignment & Business Prioritization

  • Serve as the commercial voice for Target in discussions involving supply availability, inventory constraints, replenishment priorities, and customer service risks.
  • Collaborate with Supply Planning and Flow Planning to evaluate inventory availability against customer demand, promotional commitments, and critical retail timing requirements.
  • Recommend commercially informed prioritization strategies during periods of constrained supply, considering POS trends, inventory positions, retail commitments, and potential revenue impact.
  • Identify and communicate supply and replenishment risks, ensuring timely escalation, cross-functional alignment, and clear action plans.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to evaluate inventory trade-offs and support decisions that optimize both Target business performance and broader Hasbro objectives.
  • Maintain clear accountability across functions while helping drive integrated planning and execution.

Analytics, Performance Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and maintain meaningful performance metrics and customer scorecards covering POS trends, in-stock performance, inventory health, replenishment efficiency, and service levels.
  • Leverage Target retail data, internal planning systems, and business intelligence tools to generate actionable insights and forward-looking recommendations.
  • Lead regular reviews of performance trends, operational risks, and improvement opportunities with customer and internal leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen data visibility, automate reporting, and improve decision-making.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance forecast collaboration, inventory productivity, retail execution, and customer experience.

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing
