Over de organisatie

Voor een groeiende en financieel stabiele familiale onderneming in Gent Zeehaven is werving- en selectiekantoor Hays op zoek naar een Junior Aankoper. De organisatie maakt deel uit van een Belgische groep met ongeveer 130 medewerkers en meer dan 120 jaar ervaring. De kernactiviteit van de groep ligt binnen de handel en verwerking van grondstoffen. Ze zijn actief in de import, opslag, bewerking en distributie voor professionele klanten en de industrie. Daarnaast heeft de groep ook nog activiteiten binnen andere sectoren. Je komt terecht in een familiale werkomgeving met korte beslissingslijnen en sterke groeiambitie. De cultuur is no-nonsense en ondernemend, met kleine teams waarin samenwerking en betrokkenheid centraal staan.

Jouw nieuwe functie

Als Junior Aankoper start je binnen het aankoopteam met een sterke focus op de administratieve en operationele kant van het aankoopproces. Zo leer je de producten, leveranciers en interne werking grondig kennen. Het doel is om je kennis binnen aankoop stap voor stap verder uit te bouwen. Nadat je de administratieve flow en de producten goed onder de knie hebt, krijg je de kans om door te groeien richting Category Buyer. Je takenpakket verschuift dan richting sourcing, leveranciersselectie en onderhandelingen. Concreet sta je in het begin onder andere in voor:

  • Het plaatsen en administratief opvolgen van bestellingen
  • Het invoeren van inkoopcontracten in het ERP-systeem
  • Het controleren van orderbevestigingen op prijs, hoeveelheid en levertermijn
  • Het opvolgen van levertermijnen en bijsturen waar nodig
  • Het controleren van leveringsbonnen en facturen
  • Het ondersteunen van de aankoper bij klachten over geleverde goederen
  • Het actualiseren van leveranciersgegevens en aanleveren van rapporteringen

Je vormt hierbij een belangrijke schakel tussen aankoop, verkoop, leveranciers, logistiek en andere interne stakeholders.

Jouw profiel

Deze vacature is interessant wanneer je net bent afgestudeerd of een eerste werkervaring achter de rug hebt en graag een carrière binnen aankoop wilt uitbouwen.

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma
  • Talenkennis: Nederlands, Engels en Frans
  • IT-kennis: Je kunt werken met Excel, waaronder tabellen en draaitabellen
  • Je bent nauwkeurig, leergierig en houdt van een no-nonsense werkomgeving
  • Je werkt graag samen met verschillende interne en externe contacten
