As a Principal Account Executive in our Life Sciences vertical, you're the person who brings new enterprise customers onto that platform — and then grows them into partners who see Vertage as the advantage that compounds, deal after deal, year after year.

The Opportunity

This is a new-business and growth role inside our Life Sciences vertical, built for someone who already knows how to win in specialist Life Sciences staffing and wants to build something bigger with it. You'll bring new customers into the Vertage portfolio and grow them across our full suite of services — contract, direct hire, and Statement of Work delivery — accelerating our momentum across North America and laying the groundwork for what comes next.

What You'll Do

  • Apply deep knowledge of U.S. specialist staffing models to win new enterprise customers for the Life Sciences vertical.
  • Build genuine relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, uncovering new business opportunities and paths to grow existing accounts.
  • Build pipelines through a mix of outbound prospecting, forward marketing, social selling, and in-person client meetings.
  • Translate technical resource requirements into clear delivery briefs, partnering closely with the recruiting team on candidate selection.
  • Deliver a world-class account experience end to end, fostering collaboration across teams and regions rather than working in a silo.
  • Use deep market knowledge to build account-based marketing campaigns that open the right doors with the right buyers.

What You'll Bring

  • Deep knowledge of U.S. staffing models, including contract, Statement of Work, and direct hire delivery.
  • A track record of winning new-logo business and growing it into a multi-service, multi-year relationship.
  • Comfort with modern sales tooling — LinkedIn Sales Navigator, LinkedIn Talent Insights, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, Bullhorn, Claude, and Power BI.
  • Strategic vision and data-driven instincts, paired with the collaborative leadership to align teams around a shared outcome.
  • A genuine interest in how AI and human expertise combine to change what's possible for our customers — you don't need to be an engineer, but you should be curious.
