Role Overview
As a CQI Sr Registry Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and managing databases to enhance the quality of care and patient outcomes for a select group of patients across Michigan. You will lead Registry Data Analysts, design workflows, and ensure the practical utilization of data to drive healthcare improvements. Partner 1:1 with nurse abstractors to troubleshoot daily workflow and data flow issues, identify data quality concerns, and support timely resolution. Work closely with te third-party vendor on tickets and system issues involving daily data downloads, user interface functionality, data errors and other data related issues.

What You Will Do
- Partner 1:1 with nurse abstractors to troubleshoot daily workflow and data flow issues, identify data quality concerns, and support timely resolution
- Work closely with the third-party vendor on tickets and system issues involving daily data downloads, user interface functionality, data errors, and other data-related issues.
- Design, develop, modify, and test databases to facilitate data collection and analysis for quality improvement.
- Lead Registry Data Analysts and provide training on data management and analysis.
- Design workflows and program websites to support data collection and reporting.
- Create reports and analyze data to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and support various stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Health Services Management, or a health-related field, or an associate degree in Information Technology with 6-8 years of equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of experience in data collection design and implementation for research or quality improvement projects.
- 5 years of experience in SQL.
- 5 years of experience in coding websites.
- 5 years of project management experience.
- 5 years of experience with application reporting tools.
- 5 years of experience in the healthcare domain.
- Understanding of relational databases and data architecture.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and Access.
- Able to work in the office two (2) days a week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing and distributing surveys and analyzing results. Excellent communication skills, able to work with front line staff in healthcare industry.
