MAKE EVERY MEAL MATTER

Join Hillcrest Educational Centers as a Cook and play an important role in creating meals that help keep our students and staff healthy, energized, and cared for.

If you enjoy working in a team, take pride in preparing quality meals, and like that no two days are exactly the same, this could be the opportunity for you.

Schedule: Full-Time, Float. Hours between 6 am and 6 pm ( 8 hour or 12 hour shift).

This position covers 4 campuses located in Pittsfield, Lenox and Great Barrington, MA.

Compensation: $22.50 - $24.66 per hour

Position Description:

Responsible for reviewing menus and determining estimates of quantities of foods to be ordered and prepared. Prepare, season, and cook soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foodstuffs for consumption. Work to ensure campuses and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition.

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Three to four years of experience in working with foods. Experience with proportions and percentages to calculate volume, weights, and measures.

Licenses or Certification:

Have a Current ServSafe Certificate and Food Allergy Certificate (or obtain within 6 months of holding position); Valid Driver's license is required.
