Position Summary:

Hiring Hourly Range: $15.21 to $16.73 depending on qualifications.

Position Description:

This position supports the AI-Prep4Work Initiative, a four-year federally funded grant awarded to Hillsborough College through the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE). The role contributes to expanding applied artificial intelligence education and strengthening workforce preparation for students and educators. Working in collaboration with internal teams and external partners, the position supports outreach, coordination, and implementation efforts connected to the AI Innovation Center, helping to build AI-enabled learning opportunities and workforce pathways aligned with an increasingly AI-driven economy.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct targeted outreach to K-12 schools, community organizations, workforce partners, and employers to promote grant-funded programs and increase participant enrollment.
  • Coordinate and support information sessions, presentations, and engagement activities related to the AI-Prep4Work Initiative.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute outreach and promotional materials in collaboration with project staff.
  • Track outreach activities, participant engagement, and enrollment data to support program evaluation and reporting requirements.
  • Assist with grant documentation and required reporting in accordance with federal guidelines and institutional procedures.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal program staff and external partners to ensure clear communication of grant goals, eligibility requirements, timelines, and expectations.
  • Perform technical and paraprofessional duties requiring specialized knowledge of workforce development, educational programs, or grant compliance.
  • Follow established policies, procedures, and guidelines related to grant administration and program operations.
  • Performs other similar and related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires a bachelor's degree in a related field or a minimum of two-years of prior related experience.
