Nuclear Medicine Technology Instructor

Position Summary:

Position Summary:

This is a tenured-track faculty position teaching didactic classes. Working with students one on one with simulation, labs, or clinical patients teaching the students the practical aspects of patient care and procedures for the Nuclear Medicine profession.

Required Qualifications:

The position requires at least: (1) Bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology or a related field with a minimum of two years of postgraduate professional experience. In addition to the educational qualifications, certification by a nationally recognized-certifying board, and by experience the ability to teach effectively at the appropriate nuclear medicine technology educational level.

Preferred Qualifications:

The position requires: (1) at least one year experience teaching or instructing in a nuclear medicine program, (2) CT certification, (3) experience in PET/CT Imaging and (4) five years of post-certification nuclear medicine technology experience.

Pay Rate:

Faculty members will be assigned to the appropriate salary grade based on the contract with the faculty union

• Grade 2: Master’s Degree with 18 graduate semester hours in field $53,492.64
• Grade 2+: Master’s Degree with 60 graduate semester hours in the field $56,232.06
• Grade 1: PhD in major field $58,972.71

Up to four salary steps may be applied to the starting salary based on experience.
