Compensation Range:

$17.80 - $27.07

Position Summary:

Hiring compensation range: $17.80 - $19.58 hourly depending on qualifications.

Job Summary:

The position provides secretarial and clerical support to assigned office to enable effective office operations. Types, proofreads and/or distributes accurate correspondence, memorandums, schedules and other documentation based on information generated by requestor. May independently compose letters, memos, etc. as requested.

Job Duties:

  • Type forms and letters verifying student enrollment. (30%)
  • Gather student records and photocopy and make list; preparing records for committee for academic standing. (10%)
  • Locate records and photocopy and send via certified mail; in compliance to subpoenas served. (10%)
  • Order office supplies and office equipment service; monitor budget. (5%)
  • Prepare requisitions, receiving reports, work orders. (5%)
  • Work registration. (20%)
  • Prepare form letters and memoranda letters. (5%)
  • Maintain file for payroll copies. (5%)
  • Maintain files for photocopies of forms, letters, records. (5%)
  • Type and prepare reports for supervisor as required, answer phones and greet visitors. (5%)

Minimum Qualifications:

The position requires at least a high school diploma or GED equivalency and at least two years of prior-related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred bilingual in Spanish and English (fluently able to converse).
