Job Title Software Procurement Analyst

Location Remote

Time Zone US Time Zones (EST–PST)

Role Overview We are seeking a highly organised and detail-driven professional to lead our software evaluation and vendor management process. This is a full-time role requiring strong analytical thinking, exceptional note-taking, and the ability to synthesise complex product information into clear, structured assessments. The ideal candidate is methodical, tech-savvy, and comfortable managing multiple vendor relationships and evaluation cycles simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and schedule product demos and discovery calls with software vendors

- Attend all demos, taking detailed and structured notes capturing key functionality, pricing, and differentiators

- Produce written breakdowns comparing vendor platforms against current tools — including clear strengths/weaknesses analysis with direct quotes from demos

- Manage ongoing vendor communication and follow-up to gather additional information or clarifications post-demo

- Maintain a centralised tracker of all tools evaluated, status, and recommendation outcomes

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements before vendor evaluations

- Flag discrepancies, red flags, or gaps in vendor offerings and escalate to relevant decision-makers

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in a software procurement, vendor evaluation, or technology research role

- Exceptional attention to detail — ability to capture and organise large volumes of information accurately

- Strong written English — structured, professional, and precise

- Experience producing comparative analyses or vendor assessments in a business context

- Comfortable managing multiple vendor relationships and evaluation timelines simultaneously

- Must have prior remote work experience, be fluent with remote collaboration tools and platforms (such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar), and have ideally worked with US or UK-based companies. Applications without this experience will not be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience evaluating SaaS platforms, CRMs, ERPs, or operational software

- Familiarity with procurement processes or vendor management frameworks

- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, or tech-forward business environment

- Background in operations, project management, or business analysis

Tools & Technology

- Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)

- Slack, Zoom, and other remote collaboration tools

- Project/task management tools (Asana or similar)

- Vendor tracking spreadsheets or procurement databases

Please NOTE It is crucial that you complete the application form in full. As part of the application process, you will be required to record a video. If your application is successful, you will receive an email confirming next steps—the video is the first step of the interview process. If you do not record a video, we will not be able to consider you for ANY open roles.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
