Company Background

Our client specializes in the manufacture of water-based chemical dispersions for the latex and rubber industries, such as vulcanizing agents, rubber accelerators, pigment dispersions, antioxidants, and customized chemical formulations. The company primarily supplies latex-related manufacturers, including producers of gloves and other rubber products.

Job Description

  • Assist the Operations Manager in all sales and business development activities.
  • Actively identify, develop, and pursue new sales opportunities, potential customers, and business prospects.
  • Conduct market research and generate sales leads to support business growth.
  • Prepare and deliver product or service presentations to prospective and existing customers.
  • Arrange and conduct customer visits to understand their requirements, concerns, and business needs.
  • Follow up with existing customers on upcoming orders, forecasts, and potential business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Prepare quotations and proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and support the closing of sales opportunities.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and objections professionally, coordinating with relevant internal teams when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, customer information, and follow-up activities.
  • Prepare sales reports, market feedback, and business development updates for the Operations Manager.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties and assignments as required by Management.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer relationship management.
  • Proven ability to identify new business opportunities and generate sales leads.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience in preparing quotations, proposals, and following up on sales opportunities.
  • Customer-oriented with good relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to handle customer complaints, objections, and inquiries professionally.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve sales targets.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel for customer visits.
