Join Hitachi Energy and play a pivotal role in shaping the reliability, performance, and efficiency of our Medium Power Transformer manufacturing operations. As the functional owner of maintenance planning, scheduling, CMMS governance, maintenance analytics, materials readiness, and work management processes, you will help ensure that critical manufacturing assets perform at their best while supporting a culture of safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

This is an opportunity to combine technical expertise, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to drive meaningful business results. You will lead the development of maintenance strategies, optimize schedules and resources, enhance asset reliability, and leverage data-driven insights to improve equipment performance. Working closely with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Supply Chain teams, you will influence site-wide initiatives that support productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.

If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoy solving complex operational challenges, and are passionate about creating sustainable improvements through planning, analytics, and reliability best practices, we would love to hear from you.

How you'll make an impact

  • Develop and maintain preventive maintenance plans, job plans, asset records, PM libraries, and equipment hierarchies within the CMMS.
  • Create and manage weekly, monthly, shutdown, outage, and long-range maintenance schedules.
  • Analyze maintenance and asset performance data and develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools to support data-driven decisions.
  • Lead maintenance planning processes, including work prioritization, backlog management, scheduling, and workflow compliance.
  • Ensure labor, materials, tooling, permits, documentation, and job kits are ready before work execution.
  • Coordinate major maintenance shutdowns and collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and service providers.
  • Support TPM, RCM, RCA, continuous improvement, and reliability programs that improve equipment effectiveness.
  • Partner across Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Safety teams to improve reliability, efficiency, and operational performance.

Your background

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, Industrial Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, industrial maintenance, reliability, manufacturing operations, or related technical environments.
  • Experience using CMMS/EAM systems such as SAP PM, eMaint, Infor, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, work management, asset reliability, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze maintenance and operational data using Excel, reporting tools, and maintenance systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
