Located in San Francisco’s Civic Center, Hotel Abri is a boutique property offering stylish rooms and personalized service in the heart of Union Square. With boutique amenities and a prime urban location, the hotel provides an engaging environment for hospitality professionals serving both business and leisure travelers who want an authentic San Francisco experience.

Pay Range:

$19.18-$29.18

JOB DUTIES

1.Clean and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel lobby, hallways, public restrooms, and public areas of the hotel.

2. Deep cleaning assigned areas of the hotel.

3. Clean and set-up meeting room functions.

4.Clean and maintain the appearance of the surrounding areas of the hotel, including the sidewalk, and stairs.

5. Deliver housekeeping items to guest rooms upon request from the Front Desk or Supervisor.

6. Greet each guest that you encounter in the hallways, lobby or public areas with “Good Morning” or “Good Afternoon” or “Good Evening”.

7. Quickly respond to guest requests in a timely and friendly manner.

8. Communicate to Supervisor when recovering any and all lost and found items.

9. Effectively work with team members to accomplish assigned tasks each day.

10. Follow procedures for entering and leaving guest rooms.

11. Follow all instructions when filling spray bottles with cleaning chemicals, never mix chemicals.

12. Turn in keys and radio to the Housekeeping Department when shift ends.

13. Work in a safe manner to prevent injury to yourself, other staff members or our valued guests.

14. Maintain organization and cleanliness of Room Attendants closets, guest areas and Hotel facilities. Support the MetWest Terra Hospitality’s environmental commitments by having the knowledge, skills and values to be a leader in the global goal of “greening” the hospitality industry.

15. Watch for safety hazards and report them immediately to your Department Supervisor.

16.Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned.

RESPONSIBILTY

Report to work on time and in uniform. Maintain good personal hygiene. Maintain control of keys issued to perform assigned duties. Teamwork: must be able to effectively communicate and work with fellow associates to complete daily tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Organizational and time management skills. Must be able to give and receive information clearly. Detail oriented as it pertains to accuracy and efficiency. Ability to work as part of a team. Flexible work schedule.

Lifting and Carrying 50-100 pounds Walking or standing Bending Lifting Kneeling Climbing stairs
