U ovom poslu svaki dan imaš jasno definirane zadatke za koje imaš dovoljno vremena da ih obaviš i možeš si sam/a organizirati vrijeme. Zadaci se uglavnom tiču uključenja korisnika na optičku inftastrukturu , te održavanja telekom usluga i uređaja. U suštini, sam/a rješavaš tehničke probleme, savjetuješ korisnike i preporučuješ im usluge.
