High School Math Tutor

Location: Huntington Learning Center – Cedar Park/North Austin, TX and Round Rock, TX Position Type: Part-Time

Are you a math expert looking to help students in the Round Rock area succeed? At Huntington Learning Center, we provide year-round support to students who need help catching up or getting ahead in their math coursework. We are seeking a dedicated Math Tutor who can make complex concepts simple for high school students.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized instruction in Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and/or Calculus
  • Support students preparing for the SAT and ACT by teaching tested math concepts, problem-solving strategies, and effective test-taking techniques
  • Build student confidence by breaking down math problems into manageable steps
  • Keep detailed notes on student progress during the session (training provided)

Requirements:

  • 4-Year College Degree is required. (Teaching certification is not required)
  • Strong proficiency in High School Math (up to Calculus preferred)
  • Must be local to the Round Rock/North Austin area
  • Availability to work at least 2 evenings per week

Pay: Starting at $20.00-$22.00 per hour (Based on proficiency and subject levels)
