Job Description:

Senior Key Account Manager

Huntsman is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to support the Polyurethanes Division. The preferred locations for this position are The Woodlands, TX and Auburn Hills, MI. Remote candidates are also welcome to apply and will be considered based on qualifications and business needs. This position reports to the Commercial Director, Construction – Americas.

Job Scope

The Senior Key Account Manager will be responsible for executing the Key Account Strategy across North America, with approximately $100M in revenue responsibility for Polyurethanes Components. This role will focus on building strong, lasting relationships across all levels of key account organizations, including executive leadership.

In summary, as the Senior Key Account Manager, you will:

  • Manage large, complex key accounts and identify opportunities to expand market share and reach.
  • Build relationships across multiple levels within key account organizations, including executive leadership.
  • Build strong internal relationships with Huntsman Executive Leadership and facilitate executive-to-executive engagement with key accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans.
  • Drive internal coordination in a matrixed environment to address key account needs.
  • Manage CRM activities, including opportunity pipelines and call reports.
  • Gather and assess competitive intelligence and key market dynamics.
  • Leverage sales and pricing excellence strategies to drive profitable growth.
  • Negotiate sustainable contracts and service offerings.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years of Account Management experience.
  • 10+ years of Key Account leadership experience.
  • Experience with B2B selling.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing relationships with senior and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Contract management experience.
  • Financial analysis experience and strong business acumen.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Ability to build relationships at multiple levels within key account organizations, including executive leadership.
  • Ability to establish internal relationships and facilitate executive-to-executive engagement.
  • Strategic account planning capabilities.
  • Ability to drive internal coordination in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Financial analysis capabilities.
  • Negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • M.B.A.

Working Environment

  • Preferred locations are The Woodlands, TX and Auburn Hills, MI, with remote candidates also considered.
  • Frequent interaction with key customer organizations and Huntsman Executive Leadership.
  • Travel as required to manage key accounts and support business development activities. (~30% travel)
