ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

River Park is Harvard-Westlake's new campus in Studio City, and the Operations Support team helps make the campus welcoming, organized, and ready for the people who use it every day. From the front desk to facility access, reservations, supplies, and day-to-day operational needs, this role helps keep River Park running smoothly for students, employees, families, guests, and community members.

River Park opens with new spaces, new systems, and a new community of users. This role helps establish the routines, service standards, and operational practices that will shape the campus from the start. You'll work closely with Operations, Security, Athletics, Facilities, and other departments to respond to questions, coordinate access, maintain accurate information, and help address the needs that come with a busy new campus.

Harvard-Westlake is one of the nation's leading independent schools, and what makes us exceptional isn't just the students or the resources; it's the people. You'll join a community of dedicated, smart, mission-driven colleagues who are genuinely invested in each other's growth and in building something meaningful together.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

This role provides front-desk, guest service, administrative, and operational support at River Park, helping ensure the campus is welcoming, organized, and ready for daily use.

  • Check in visitors and support access to River Park facilities, including tennis courts, pool, track, and other approved spaces, following established procedures
  • Provide information and assistance regarding facilities, programs, reservations, and policies; resolve routine questions and concerns or direct them to the appropriate team member

Operations and Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative and operational support for the Operations department and school community
  • Maintain accurate records, data, schedules, reservations, and other operational information using school systems and technology
  • Coordinate with Operations, Security, Athletics, Facilities, and other departments to address guest and operational needs
  • Learn and use school systems, reservation tools, spreadsheets, and other operational technology

Supplies, Inventory, and Campus Support

  • Assist with receiving, organizing, tracking, and distributing operational supplies, materials, and inventory
  • Maintain organized supply and storage areas and communicate replenishment needs
  • Support campus activities, facility-use needs, events, and other day-to-day operational requirements
  • Identify and communicate facility, equipment, supply, or service needs to appropriate team members
  • Assist with moving and organizing supplies and materials as needed

Customer Service and Teamwork

  • Provide friendly, responsive, and professional service consistent with Harvard-Westlake standards and expectations
  • Communicate clearly and courteously with students, employees, families, visitors, vendors, and members of the public
  • Exercise sound judgment when responding to routine questions, requests, and operational issues
  • Work collaboratively with Operations Support and other school departments as priorities and campus needs change
  • Contribute to a positive, organized, and welcoming environment at River Park

Community Responsibilities

  • Participate in school events, retreats, advisory, lunch supervision, professional development days, and community programming as appropriate to the role
  • Collaborate across departments and campuses in support of the school's mission and the broader life of the school.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
