As an IBM intern, you’ll work with the latest technologies and collaborate with team members to make a real impact for our clients and the world. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute innovative ideas, apply your transferable skills, and develop new competencies that will support your professional growth.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Developing software solutions: Design, code, and test software solutions at the component level, ensuring they are unit-tested and ready for integration into products.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders: Work in an Agile environment to understand stakeholder requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues: Design, develop, and perform unit tests on code fixes for issues reported by customers.
  • Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline: Participate in the development of an automated CI/CD pipeline that guides the code through various quality stages.
  • Deliver solutions: Test and deliver solutions using cutting-edge and/or proven technologies.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical fields
  • Experience in back-end development: Familiarity with the design, development, testing, and delivery of back-end components for software applications using cutting-edge and/or proven technologies.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies: Understanding of Agile principles and practices, with experience working in a collaborative environment to understand stakeholder requirements.
  • Component-level software design: Knowledge of designing, coding, and testing component-level software solutions, ensuring they are unit-tested and ready for integration into products.
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting: Experience debugging issues reported by customers, including the design, development, and unit testing of code fixes.
  • Front-end Development Skills: Experience in the design, development, testing, and delivery of front-end components for software applications using cutting-edge and/or proven technologies.
  • Advanced English.

Suas principais responsabilidades incluem:

  • Desenvolver soluções de software: projetar, programar e testar soluções de software no nível dos componentes, garantindo que sejam submetidas a testes unitários e estejam prontas para integração nos produtos.
  • Colaborar com as partes interessadas: trabalhar em um ambiente ágil para compreender os requisitos das partes interessadas e entregar soluções que atendam às suas necessidades.
  • Resolver problemas dos clientes: projetar, desenvolver e realizar testes unitários em correções de código para problemas relatados pelos clientes.
  • Contribuir para o pipeline de CI/CD: Participar do desenvolvimento de um pipeline automatizado de CI/CD que conduza o código por várias etapas de qualidade.
  • Entregar soluções: Testar e entregar soluções utilizando tecnologias de ponta e/ou comprovadas.

Conhecimentos profissionais e técnicos exigidos

  • Estar cursando graduação em: Ciência da Computação, Engenharia da Computação, Sistemas de Informação ou áreas técnicas correlatas
  • Vivência em desenvolvimento back-end: Familiaridade com o design, desenvolvimento, testes e entrega de componentes back-end de aplicações de software utilizando tecnologias de ponta e/ou comprovadas.
  • Conhecimentos em metodologias Ágeis: Entendimento dos princípios e práticas Ágeis, com experiência em trabalhar em um ambiente colaborativo para compreender os requisitos dos stakeholders.
  • Design de software em nível de componentes: Conhecimento em projetar, codificar e testar soluções de software em nível de componentes, garantindo que estejam testadas com testes unitários e prontas para integração aos produtos.
  • Depuração e resolução de problemas: Vivência na depuração de problemas reportados por clientes, incluindo o design, desenvolvimento e testes unitários de correções de código.
  • Conhecimentos em desenvolvimento front-end: Vivência no design, desenvolvimento, testes e entrega de componentes front-end de aplicações de software utilizando tecnologias de ponta e/ou comprovadas.
  • Inglês avançado.
