As a Finance Data Science Trainee at IBM, you will become part of a team that combines finance, data, and technology to drive smarter business decisions. From day one, you will take on your own responsibilities and work on tasks that contribute directly to the team's success and business outcomes. This traineeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence. You will work with financial and operational data, support data-driven decision-making, and help identify insights that improve business performance. Along the way, you will develop both your analytical and technical skills while gaining exposure to how a global organization operates. We believe in hiring for potential, so no previous work experience is required. Throughout the program, you will receive continuous training, learning opportunities, and career development support to help you grow professionally. You will build expertise at the intersection of finance and data science, learning how to transform data into actionable insights that create measurable business value. Program details: * Contract duration: 12 months * Working hours: Part-time, 24 hours/week * Start date: November 2026 * Monthly salary: 750 EUR (gross) * Number of positions is limited Candidates with the right to work within the EU will be given preference.   • Full-time university student in Finance, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field
  • Understanding of core finance and accounting concepts and processes
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, including Excel and exposure to data analysis tools (eg. SQL, Python, Power BI, etc.)
  • Active intermediate level of Business English
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to combine finance knowledge with data-driven decision-making

• Financial Modeling Tools: Exposure to financial modeling tools and techniques to support data analysis and forecasting.

• Data Visualization: Interest in data visualization methods to effectively communicate insights and findings.

• Business Intelligence Software: Curiosity about business intelligence software to analyze and report financial data.
