As a DevOps Developer Generalist, you will work in an agile, collaborative environment to build, deploy, configure, and maintain systems. You will collaborate with development teams to enable a continuous integration environment that sustains high productivity levels and emphasizes defect prevention techniques.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assist with System Development: Learn to design, build, and deploy systems, including software installations, updates, and core services, while collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless integration.

• Explore Continuous Integration: Participate in enabling a continuous integration environment that sustains high productivity levels and emphasizes defect prevention techniques, ensuring smooth delivery pipeline from dev/test to staging and production.

• Automate System Performance: Observe and learn to automate, measure, and optimize system performance, availability, and processes, utilizing tools like Jenkins, Maven, Ant, Gradle, Chef, Puppet, Docker, and UrbanCode.

• Support Deployment and Monitoring: Engage in designing and implementing tools for automated deployment and monitoring of multiple environments, promoting efficient system management.

• Participate in A/B Testing: Assist with performing A/B testing to ensure high-quality system delivery and identify areas for improvement.

• Basic Understanding of System Development: Exposure to designing, building, and deploying systems, including software installations, updates, and core services.

• Familiarity with Continuous Integration: Interest in enabling continuous integration environments that sustain high productivity levels and emphasize defect prevention techniques.

• Awareness of Automation Tools: Curiosity about automating, measuring, and optimizing system performance, availability, and processes using tools like Jenkins, Maven, Ant, Gradle, Chef, Puppet, Docker, and UrbanCode.

• Exposure to Deployment and Monitoring: Basic understanding of designing and implementing tools for automated deployment and monitoring of multiple environments.

• Interest in Testing Methodologies: Exposure to A/B testing principles and practices to ensure high-quality system delivery.

• Familiarity with Cloud Platforms: Exposure to cloud-based infrastructure and platforms, such as AWS or Azure, can be beneficial in designing and deploying systems.

• Knowledge of Scripting Languages: Interest in scripting languages like Python, Ruby, or Perl can aid in automating system performance and processes.

• Understanding of Containerization: Curiosity about containerization tools like Kubernetes can help in designing and implementing automated deployment and monitoring of multiple environments.

Como Desarrollador/a DevOps Generalista, trabaja en un entorno ágil y colaborativo para construir, implementar, configurar y mantener sistemas. Colabora con los equipos de desarrollo para habilitar un entorno de integración continua que mantenga altos niveles de productividad y enfatice técnicas de prevención de defectos.

Las principales responsabilidades incluyen:

• Asistir en el desarrollo de sistemas: Aprender a diseñar, construir e implementar sistemas, incluyendo instalaciones de software, actualizaciones y servicios básicos, colaborando con los equipos de desarrollo para garantizar una integración fluida.

• Explorar la integración continua: Participar en la habilitación de un entorno de integración continua que mantenga altos niveles de productividad y enfatice técnicas de prevención de defectos, asegurando un flujo de implementación eficiente desde desarrollo/pruebas hasta staging y producción.

• Automatizar el rendimiento de sistemas: Observar y aprender a automatizar, medir y optimizar el rendimiento, la disponibilidad y los procesos de los sistemas, utilizando herramientas como Jenkins, Maven, Ant, Gradle, Chef, Puppet, Docker y UrbanCode.

• Brindar soporte en implementación y monitoreo: Participar en el diseño e implementación de herramientas para la implementación y monitoreo automatizado de múltiples entornos, promoviendo una gestión eficiente de los sistemas.

• Participar en pruebas A/B: Asistir en la realización de pruebas A/B para garantizar la implementación de sistemas de alta calidad e identificar áreas de mejora.
