In this role, you will work closely with product management and business stakeholders, ensuring that system functionality aligns with business needs and strategic objectives. You will be responsible for ensuring the team’s backlog is healthy and aligned with the product management roadmap, and that the development team has the context necessary to deliver successfully.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for creating, refining, and maintaining the product backlog, a list of requirements
  • Refine business requirements, split features and epics into stories or tasks
  • Define acceptance Criteria and ensure that the team understands the “what” to work on
  • Mentor development team members in problem solving & understanding
  • Communicate shared understanding to align team’s efforts towards overall strategic goals
  • In collaboration with product management, actively gather and understand business needs, translating them into actionable user stories and requirements
  • Actively participate in Sprint Planning & backlog refinement to ensure the team delivers high-quality and valuable work
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., Enterprise Architects, DevOps team) to ensure team aligns with best code development & deployment practices
  • Proven Salesforce experience
  • 8+ years of progressive work experience with 3+ years in a Product Ownership or Business Analysis role, preferably in an Agile/Scrum environment, proficiency with Jira
  • Strong business analysis skills including requirement refinement, process analysis & solution design
  • Ability to identify and solve problems related to sales planning processes
  • Strength in prioritizing development work while managing product management expectations
  • Ability to resolve conflicting priorities and communicate key insights from multiple sources (e.g., business feedback, technical discussions, community input) to stakeholders and leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn & adopt new technologies
  • Ability to work independently to meet shift in business priorities
  • Solid communication, presentation, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive in engaging stakeholders to drive clarity and alignment
  • Understanding of Partner Relationship Management process and best practices
  • Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Loyalty Management, Rebates Management
  • Experience with the deployment of Salesforce metadata using the Salesforce Command Line Interface (CLI)
  • Experience using Salesforce Scratch Orgs for Salesforce development
  • Experience with DevOps automation using one of the following or equivalent: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins
  • Experience with at least one commercial Salesforce DevOps tool: Copado, Flosum, Gearset, AutoRABIT, or equivalent
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner
