August Ramsayn säätiö myöntää henkilökohtaisia apurahoja säätiön periaatteiden mukaisiin opinnäytetöihin. Apurahoja myönnetään yksityishenkilöille, joiden tutkimusaiheet liittyvät säätiön periaatteisiin ja tavoitteisiin. Hakemukset arvioidaan säätiön hallituksen toimesta, ja apuraha myönnetään lupaaville ja innovatiivisille opinnäytetöille.

Säätiön hallitus käsittelee hakemukset ja päättää apurahan saajat viimeistään joulukuussa 2026.

Apuraha on enintään 6 000 euroa opinnäytetyötä kohti. Apuraha maksetaan osissa sitä mukaa kun työ edistyy. Apuraha ei ole siirrettävissä toiselle henkilölle.

Kirjalliset hakemukset toimitetaan säätiön sähköpostiin [email protected] määräaikaan mennessä.

Apurahan myöntämisen ehtoina on

  • että opinnäytetyö on säätiön säännöissä määritellyn tarkoituksen mukainen
  • se edistää Ifin Suomen sivuliikkeessä vakuutettujen yritysten vahingontorjuntatyötä tai vakuutustoiminnan käytännöllistä tai teoreettista tutkimusta
  • Apurahan saaja sitoutuu pitämään esityksen tutkimuksen tuloksista säätiön hallitukselle sekä yhteisesti sovittavalle kohderyhmälle.
  • Artikkelin kirjoittaminen lopputyön tuloksista ja lupa sen käyttämiseen kokonaisuudessaan tai osittain Ifin viestinnällisessä tarkoituksessa, esim. asiakasviestinnässä.

Säätiön hallitus huomioi päätöksiä tehdessään myös säätiön toiminnalleen asettamat painopistealueet, jotka tällä hetkellä ovat:

  • Hyvän riskienarvioinnin merkityksen korostaminen liiketoiminnan jatkuvuuden turvaamisessa ja vahinkojen torjunnassa.
  • Jatkuvuussuunnittelun ja riskitietoisuuden hyödyntäminen yritysten toimintavalmiuden ja häiriöiden sietokyvyn kehittämisessä ja ylläpitämisessä.
  • Inhimillinen tekijä ja sen merkitys vahinkotapahtumissa eri toimialoilla ja vakuutuslajeissa.
  • Muuttuvat ja kehittyvät riskit, kuten kyber- ja digitalisaatioriskit sekä muuttuvaan työhön liittyvät riskit erityisesti henkilöriskienhallinnan kannalta, esimerkkinä lisääntynyt etätyö.

Apurahan keskeyttäminen

  • Apurahan saaja raportoi säätiön hallitukselle työn etenemisestä. Jos tutkimus ei etene hakemuksessa esitetyn suunnitelman mukaisesti, niin säätiön hallituksella on oikeus keskeyttää apuraha.
  • Hakijan pyynnöstä apuraha voidaan keskeyttää esimerkiksi pitkän sairausloman, vanhempainvapaan, asevelvollisuuden tai siviilipalvelun ajaksi.
